How Events Are Organized on Todo.Today

Todo.Today is built around one simple idea: what’s good, near you, today. Everything you see is shaped by that. Here’s how events are organized so you can find your next thing fast.

Your location comes first

Every place we’re in — Koh Phangan, Samui, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Ubud, Canggu and more — has its own home. When you open Todo.Today, you land in your location, and everything you see is happening right there. No endless global feed, no events three islands away. Just your area.

Today, first

The heart of the platform is Today. The moment you arrive, you see what’s on today — not a calendar to dig through, not next month’s maybe-plans. Today’s events, ready to go. There’s a Tomorrow tab right next to it for planning ahead, but today always leads.

The day, in order

Instead of one long list, the day is laid out the way you actually move through it — morning to night. You’ll scroll through friendly sections like:

  • ⚡ Happening Now — things you can still walk into right this moment.
  • Early Morning and Morning Vibes — sunrise sessions, coffee-hour classes.
  • Noon & Chill and Afternoon Groove — midday and afternoon.
  • Sunset Moments and Evening Energy — golden hour into the evening.
  • Nightlife Highlights — the night’s best.

So whether you’re looking for something now or planning your evening, you can jump straight to the part of the day you care about.

“Happening Now” stays honest

Not every event is the kind you can join late. A come-and-go beach party is great to drop into any time — so it stays in Happening Now for as long as it’s on. But a class you really need to start on time drops out of Happening Now soon after it begins, so you’re never sent to something you’ve already missed. The result: when something’s listed as happening now, it genuinely still is.

The best stuff, up top

Each day, a few standouts get highlighted — Top Picks, Featured, and Editor’s Pick events rise to the top so you don’t miss the gems. These are hand-chosen, part of how we keep the daily list curated rather than crowded.

Want more? It’s all there

Busy days show a handful of events per section with a “Load more” to open the rest, so the page stays easy to scan. And if you want to browse by what you’re into — yoga, live music, markets, dance — every location has category pages and creator and venue pages you can explore, follow, and save from.

And every morning, the short version

If you’d rather not open the app at all, the Daily Digest brings the day’s best picks straight to your WhatsApp or Telegram each morning — the same today-first idea, delivered to you. (See The Daily Digest: How It Works.)
