{"id":104709,"date":"2026-05-21T09:33:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T02:33:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/todo.today\/?post_type=guide&#038;p=104709"},"modified":"2026-06-19T15:06:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T08:06:10","slug":"creator-channels-on-todo-today","status":"publish","type":"guide","link":"https:\/\/todo.today\/guides\/creator-channels-on-todo-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Creator Channels on Todo.Today"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creator Channels are your personal space on Todo.Today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They let explorers discover your upcoming events, follow your work, save events they&#8217;re interested in, and stay connected with what you create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of relying only on the daily WhatsApp or Telegram digest, Creator Channels give facilitators, organizers, venues, and communities their own long-term home on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a Creator Channel?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every creator on Todo.Today has their own channel \u2014 a dedicated page that displays all the events you host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your channel can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>your upcoming (and past) events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a profile image<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a cover image<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a bio \/ about section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social links<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a custom URL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People can follow your channel and receive your events inside their personal Todo.Today feed (Life Stream).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Creator Channels matter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The daily WhatsApp and Telegram digests are intentionally limited and curated. Creator Channels give people a way to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>discover all your upcoming events in one place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>follow your activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>plan ahead<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>save events they&#8217;re interested in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also help you build your own audience and visibility over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get to your channel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open the main menu and tap <strong>My Channel<\/strong> to go straight to your channel page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From there you can edit everything: tap the <strong>edit (pencil)<\/strong> icon, or open the <strong>\u22ee menu \u2192 Channel settings<\/strong> to open the <em>Manage Channel<\/em> panel. It has two tabs \u2014 <strong>Display<\/strong> and <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customizing how your channel looks (Display tab)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the <strong>Display<\/strong> tab you can set:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cover image<\/strong> \u2014 upload a banner that represents you or your events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Profile image<\/strong> \u2014 your channel&#8217;s main picture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Channel Name<\/strong> \u2014 how you appear across Todo.Today (required).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bio<\/strong> \u2014 a short description, up to 160 characters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Links<\/strong> \u2014 website, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tap <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> when you&#8217;re done. A complete, well-designed profile helps people understand who you are, what kind of events you create, and what your community is about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Channel settings (Settings tab)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Settings<\/strong> tab controls how your channel behaves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Visibility<\/strong> \u2014 by default, your channel is visible. You can switch it to <em>Hidden completely<\/em>, which means it won&#8217;t be searchable and event-page links won&#8217;t open it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Custom URL<\/strong> \u2014 everyone starts with a default channel ID. You can replace it with a personalized link like <code>todo.today\/c\/your-name<\/code> to make your channel easier to share.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Display past events<\/strong> \u2014 toggle on to show events that have already happened, or off to show only upcoming ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Claiming your venue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you own or manage a venue, you can claim it from <strong>Settings \u2192 Venue Claim<\/strong>, so that every event hosted there automatically appears on your channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 For the full step-by-step, see: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/todo.today\/guides\/claiming-your-venue\/\">Claiming Your Venue on Todo.Today<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How followers work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When someone follows your channel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>your events appear in their personal feed (Life Stream)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they can discover your future events more easily<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they stay connected to your upcoming activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more followers you have, the stronger your long-term visibility becomes on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event saves<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explorers can also save individual events. Saves help people plan ahead, increase event visibility, and show community interest around your events. Submitting events earlier gives them more time to gain visibility and saves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sharing your channel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Creator Channel is designed to be shared \u2014 on Instagram, in WhatsApp groups, on Telegram, on Facebook, in your bio\/linktree, or with your community. Many creators use their channel as the central home for all their upcoming events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creator Channels and WhatsApp inclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The daily WhatsApp and Telegram digests remain personally curated and are intentionally limited in size. But Creator Channels now play an important role in understanding community interest. Things like followers, event saves, engagement, consistency, and profile quality can all help strengthen your visibility over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal is still to create balanced, diverse, high-quality daily digests while giving creators a stronger long-term presence on Todo.Today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The bigger vision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todo.Today started as a simple daily WhatsApp message.
