The special part is that a Venue Channel can also show events submitted by different facilitators, as long as they selected that venue as the location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, if a yoga teacher submits a class and selects your venue, the event can appear on both the teacher\u2019s Creator Channel and your Venue Channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means the venue can show a full schedule without needing to submit the same events again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Venue Channels were created to make things easier and cleaner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before Venue Channels, the same event could be submitted twice: once by the facilitator and once by the venue. This creates duplicates, confusion, and extra moderation work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Venue Channels solve this by letting each event stay connected to the right creator, while still appearing on the venue\u2019s page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ideal flow is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The facilitator submits the event.
The facilitator selects the venue.
The event appears on the facilitator\u2019s channel.
The event also appears on the venue channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This gives visibility to both the facilitator and the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Todo.Today is a community-driven platform. The main engine of the platform is the creators themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many facilitators teach in different venues. Their Creator Channel helps people follow their work, see where they are teaching, and discover their upcoming events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When facilitators submit their own events, they stay responsible for the information they publish. They can update the details, cancel the event if needed, and keep their audience informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, venues can submit events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This makes sense when the venue is the actual organizer, or when the event is managed directly by the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But when an event is led by a facilitator who already has a Todo.Today account, the best practice is for the facilitator to submit and manage the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If a venue submits many facilitator-led events under the venue account, Todo.Today treats them as events from one creator: the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That means the events are grouped under the venue account, not separately under each facilitator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Todo.Today gives visibility based on quality, balance, timing, relevance, and creator participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Submitting many events from one venue account does not automatically create more visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A creator with 20 events does not automatically get more exposure than a creator with 2 or 3 good events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When facilitators submit their own events, the events are connected to the right creator, which gives clearer ownership and better visibility across the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
