Most of the time it&#8217;s just a quick search \u2014 but you also have options for events where the location should stay private until someone signs up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Searching for your place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start typing the name of your venue. If it already exists, select it and you&#8217;re done \u2014 your event is pinned to that spot, and it joins everything else happening there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can&#8217;t find it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your venue doesn&#8217;t come up \u2014 maybe it&#8217;s a private house, a beach spot, or a new place \u2014 you can <strong>drop a pin<\/strong> on the map instead. We&#8217;ll use that location for your event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Secret Location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For events that need <strong>tickets or RSVP<\/strong>, you can keep the exact spot hidden until someone registers. Switch from <strong>Place<\/strong> to <strong>Secret Location<\/strong>, and instead of a pin you&#8217;ll:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pick a general <strong>area<\/strong> so people know roughly where it is.<\/li>\n<li>Add a short <strong>location note<\/strong> \u2014 for example, &#8220;exact address revealed 24 hours before.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your event still appears in that area&#8217;s listings, but the precise location is only shared once a guest has booked or been approved.
