A daily happy hour, Taco Tuesday, a sauna and ice bath session, mini golf, a boat tour that leaves every morning. On Todo.Today these are Daily Specials. This guide covers the whole Daily Special form in one place.

Is it a Daily Special?

A Daily Special is a standing offer from a place or business that people can join. Nobody is hosting a group, and it is usually something you run again and again.

It is not a Daily Special if:

It is a private session people book with you, like a massage, a treatment, a reading or a coaching call. That is a 1:1 Session. See How to Submit a 1:1 Session.

It is a hosted class or workshop with a teacher or facilitator, like a yoga class or a pottery workshop. That is an event, and it can repeat too. See How to Submit an Event. This is the most common mix-up, so it is worth a second thought: if someone is leading a group through something, it belongs there, even if you run it daily.

It is just your opening hours or your menu. A Daily Special needs a real offer: a deal, an activity, an experience.

Where it appears

Daily Specials appear on your channel and in the dedicated Daily Specials section of the daily feed. They are not part of the daily WhatsApp and Telegram digest, which is reserved for hosted community events.

Step by step

1. Add your photos

Add up to four images and one video, and tap the image you want as the cover. The video can’t be the cover. Use a real, bright photo of the offer or the place: the plate, the pool, the boat. Avoid text-heavy posters and logos, the title and price already appear next to the image. Keep the important part near the center, because images are cropped from the sides to fit different screens.

2. Choose the type, then title, details, category and tags

Pick Daily Special.

Name the offer, not the business: “Sunset Happy Hour”, “Sauna and Ice Bath Session”, “Pink Dolphin Boat Tour”. In the details say exactly what people get, what it costs and anything they should know before coming. Pick one category and up to five tags. For more on titles and descriptions, see Writing a Great Title & Description.

3. How can people join?

A Daily Special has two ways to join. Pick the one that matches what really happens when someone turns up.

Walk-in. People show up any time during your hours. No booking. Right for happy hours, food deals, pool access, mini golf, sauna slots.

You can add an optional WhatsApp for questions number. It is exactly what it sounds like: somewhere people can message you if they want to ask something first. It is not a booking, and your listing still says Walk-in. Leave it empty and no button appears.

Book ahead. It starts at a set time and people must book first. Right for tours, boat trips, and anything with limited places or a departure time.

Book ahead asks for two more things:

Registration method and where it goes: WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, a Google Form or your website. This becomes the Book button, so test the link. Send people straight to the booking page, not to an Instagram profile, a Linktree or your homepage.

People must book: either any time before it starts, or at least the day before. Pick the second one if you need to know numbers in advance. It matters more than it looks: it decides which date your listing offers, and an offer that closes the night before will never promise someone today.

If someone who turns up without booking would be sent away, choose Book ahead.

4. When

First day: the first day the offer runs.

Walk-in hours: Open from and Open until. Both are required. Open until is what tells us when to stop showing your offer for the day, so give us your real closing time rather than a guess.

Book ahead times: Starts at is the departure or start time and is required. Ends at is optional, so add it if people should know when they will be back.

This offer repeats: tick it and choose Daily, or Weekly and pick the days, or Monthly, or Custom to hand-pick dates, and set the date it repeats until. Repeating is optional, so a one-off offer is fine too. When the run is close to ending, extend the date rather than submitting again.

5. Where

Search for your place. Start typing the venue name and select it. Your offer joins everything else happening at that place. If it isn’t listed, drop a pin on the map.

For Book ahead the field is labelled Meeting point, because that is what people need: where to be, not where the activity ends up.

A Daily Special always happens somewhere people can find, so there is no Secret Location option for this type. If your offer genuinely needs a hidden address, it is probably a 1:1 Session or an event rather than a Daily Special.

6. Exchange (the price)

Free: no cost to join.

Paid: the price per person, in THB or USD.

Min Order: no entry price, but people are expected to order. Right for most food and drink offers. Set the minimum as an amount or a number of items. Don’t pick Free and hide the minimum in a note. Walk-in only, since a seat you reserve isn’t a tab you run up.

Donation: open, a minimum amount, or a suggested amount.

Use the Price Note for a short qualifier, such as “2 for 1 cocktails” or “towel included”.

What people see once it’s live

A Daily Special doesn’t read like a dated event. Your listing keeps up with the day on its own, so you never have to repost or edit it as the hours pass.

A walk-in offer counts down to opening, then says it’s open, then points at the next day:

Before you open: Opens at 5:00 PM

While you’re open: Open now until 8:00 PM

After you close: Next: tomorrow, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a note that today’s hours are over

A Book ahead offer never leaves people at a dead end. Once today’s start time has gone, or once booking has closed for today, the listing offers your next date instead of disappearing, so the booking they can actually make is the one they see.

And if someone opens an old link to a date that has already run, your listing takes them to the next live date in a tap.

One more thing worth knowing: however many dates your offer repeats on, it shows as one card in the Daily Specials section, not one per date.

After you submit

If you have had a listing approved before, your Daily Special goes live on your channel straight away. If this is your first submission, it is reviewed first. See How Event Moderation Works.

Common questions

I offer several deals on different days. Submit each one separately, with weekly repeat on its own day. One clear offer per listing.

My offer needs booking the day before. Choose Book ahead and set People must book to “at least the day before”. You don’t need to explain it in your description any more, your listing handles it: it stops offering today once booking has closed, and points at the next date people can still book.

My offer sells tickets online. Choose Book ahead, set the registration method to Website, and paste your ticket or booking page as the link. People will see a Book button that takes them straight there.

Does a Daily Special have to repeat? No. A one-off offer is fine. The repeat option is there if you want it.

Why do I have to fill in Open until? Because it is how we know when to stop showing your offer for the day. Without it we would either drop it too early or keep promising it after you have closed.

Why isn’t my Daily Special in the daily digest? By design. The digest is a short list of hosted events. Daily Specials have their own section in the daily feed and live on your channel.

How to list a standing offer on Todo.Today, like a happy hour, a sauna and ice bath session or a daily boat tour: the two ways people can join, how to set your hours or your departure time, when booking closes, and what your listing says as the day goes on.

[1188
post-105164","guide","type-guide","status-publish","hentry","guide_category-creators
["GET
