Brainrunner: Pub Quiz Evolved

Discovered on Todo.Today, for more events in Bangkok

Are you smarter than the machine? Every Wednesday evening, human host Todd and Bria, the BR-9000, test the limits of human knowledge and intellect, or just as often debate 1980s Schwarzenegger movie roles.

Brainrunner puts teams through music, movies, games, general knowledge and some bizarre tests of what remains of your mind after a long day at work. Decode mangled phrases, identify images and songs as they are revealed, solve brain teasers, and invent convincing answers to fool other teams. There is no "Greek Mythology" or "European Capitals" at Brainrunner.

Play solo or in teams, in a TV game show format. Each week Todd tries to improve the robot's programming and rein in its more hostile tendencies.

Bring friends with different interests and at least one who knows some stuff.

Prizes: teams of up to 2 players win 500 THB to spend at Arcadia Live; teams of 3 to 5 win 1,000 THB.
