Huay Tung Tao, Dtaat Mook and Mong Lychee Orchards Loop, in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park
Meet 9:30 at ra nkafaephx hwy (Por Huay cafe), Huay Tung Tao lake. A 24 minute walk around the lake to the trailhead. Plan for up to 8 hours total, likely less.
11.7 km loop, 539m of climb, about 4 to 4.5 hours of walking. Relaxed pace. We wait for whoever is slowest, and you can cut it short whenever you like.
Forest climb to Dtaat Mook waterfall, then ridge views and the Hmong lychee orchards.
Bring trail shoes, 2L of water, snacks, a rain jacket, a cap, mosquito spray and some cash.
Coffee by the lake after, for anyone who feels like it.
