Event Statuses & Visibility

Every event on Todo.Today has a status that determines where it appears. Understanding these statuses helps creators know exactly where their event is showing, and what each step means.

The statuses

Pending Review: Your event was submitted successfully and is waiting for manual review. This usually applies to first-time creators. No action needed unless we mark it Needs Fixes.

Needs Fixes: Something is missing or unclear. We’ll leave a note (usually by email too) explaining what to adjust. Update your event and resubmit.

Published Channel: Your event is live on your own Creator Channel, and visible in the Life Stream of people who follow you. It is not yet in the main local feed, search, or the daily digest.

Published App: Your event is live across the Todo.Today website and app, and can appear in general discovery areas.

Published / Digest: Your event is approved for the platform and also selected for the daily WhatsApp / Telegram digest. Digest inclusion is always curated and limited.

Cancelled: The event was cancelled after publishing. Please update or cancel any event that’s no longer happening so explorers aren’t misled.

Where each status shows

Think of visibility as a ladder. Published Channel reaches your followers. Published App reaches the whole platform. Published / Digest adds the daily message on top. Each step widens your reach, and the wider steps are curated to keep the experience high quality for everyone.

Why it works this way

This lets trusted creators publish quickly to their own channel while keeping the main discovery areas and daily digest curated. Being live on Todo.Today doesn’t automatically mean digest inclusion, the two are separate, and the digest is always a selected handful.
