Images & Video
Your cover image is the first thing people see — and on a busy feed, it’s often what decides whether they stop and tap. A few simple choices make a big difference.
How many images
You can add up to four images per event, plus one video. Tap any image to set it as the cover — that’s the one that leads your event card. You can change the cover anytime before you publish.
What makes a good cover
- Show the experience. A real photo of people at your event, the space, or the activity beats a generic graphic.
- Keep it clean. Avoid heavy text, logos, or busy posters — the title and details already appear next to the image.
- Bright and in focus. Dark or blurry images get scrolled past.
- Make it honest. The image should match what people will actually find.
Sizing and cropping
Your image is shown in different shapes across Todo.Today — wide on some screens, square on others. We crop from the sides to fit, so keep the important part of the image near the center. Anything critical right at the edges may get trimmed.
Adding a video
You can include one video alongside your images. For now, the video can’t be used as the cover — pick a strong photo for that. A short clip of a past event is a great way to show the vibe.
That’s all you need. A clear, bright, honest cover image will carry your event a long way.
