The Daily Digest: How It Works

Every morning, Todo.Today sends one short message to your location’s WhatsApp and Telegram — a hand-picked list of the best things happening that day. No spam, no chat, no endless scrolling. Just what’s worth showing up for, readable in under a minute.

What the daily digest is

The digest is a curated shortlist, not an automatic feed. Each morning the local channel manager hand-picks the day’s highlights and writes a short, warm intro about what’s going on locally. Everything in it earns its place — because your attention is limited and we’d rather send you one message you trust than flood you with everything.

The full list of everything happening today and tomorrow always lives on the website, so you can browse ahead and plan whenever you like. The digest is the morning shortlist; the site is the complete picture.

When it arrives

Once each morning, to your location’s group and channel. One message a day — that’s it. Many people open it as part of their morning routine, just to feel the pulse of what’s happening, whether or not they go to anything.

What’s inside a digest

Every digest follows the same simple shape, so it’s easy to scan:

  • The date and a warm greeting for your location.
  • A short local intro line — written fresh each day. It might mention the full moon, a holiday, the weather, or whatever’s in the air that day. This is the human heart of the message.
  • A link to view everything happening today and upcoming.
  • The day’s events, grouped by time of day (for example morning, afternoon, evening), so you can find something that fits your plans.
  • A few standout highlights marked so they catch your eye.
  • A link at the end to explore more, plan ahead, or submit your own event.

How to read each event

Each event is kept to a few quick lines: the time, the title, the venue, the price, and a link. Tap the link to open the full event page, where you’ll find the complete details — description, exact location and map, and how to book or RSVP if needed. The digest is there to help you decide what to open; the event page carries everything else.

How to join

Head to your location’s channel page on todo.today and follow the join link. You’ll start receiving the morning digest each day. If a group is full, the join link automatically points you to one that has space, so you’ll always get in.

WhatsApp or Telegram?

Both carry the same daily digest — pick whichever you prefer. WhatsApp is where most of the community is, and Telegram mirrors it. You can also follow the WhatsApp Channel if you’d like the digest as a broadcast rather than in a group.

Good to know

  • The digest is one message a morning — the groups aren’t for chatting, so they stay quiet and clutter-free.
  • Some experiences, like daily activities and multi-day retreats, live on the website and channels rather than in the morning digest. If you want the complete picture, the site always has it.
  • Organize events yourself? The link at the bottom of every digest takes you to submit yours.
