Writing as a Tool for Self Exploration w/ Iris
“Every secret of a writer’s soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind, is written largely in his works”
-Virginia Woolf
“Good fiction is made of that which is real, and reality is difficult to come by’
-Ralph Ellison
Writing as a Tool for Self-Exploration class is designed to guide participants on a journey of self-discovery through the written word.
In a supportive and creative environment, we will engage in thoughtful writing exercises that delve into our memories, values, emotions, and dreams.
The class combines personal reflections with the art of storytelling, encouraging participants to transform their life experiences into compelling narratives.
By writing stories rooted in their own journeys, participants are more prone to uncover new insights, deepen self-awareness, and discover the power of sharing their truth.
Perfect for those looking to connect more deeply with themselves, each session offers the opportunity to write, share, and grow alongside fellow explorers of the self.
No prior writing experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to reflect, learn, and craft meaningful stories.
Language of the class-We welcome participants to write in either English or Hebrew, depending on which language feels more comfortable to them.
All tasks will be provided in both languages, so you can choose the one that best suits your expression and flow., As the class progresses, we may divide into two smaller groups—one for Hebrew speakers and one for English speakers—depending on the number of participants and the distribution between the two languages.
The goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels free to explore their creativity, regardless of their preferred language.
