How to Submit an Event

Everything you need to get your event live on Todo.Today. The whole form takes about two minutes. This guide walks you through it top to bottom — and links to short guides for the parts where a little extra care goes a long way.

Todo.Today is curated, so the clearer your submission, the faster it gets approved.

Before you start

Have these ready:

One or more photos of your event (a flyer or a real photo both work)
The date, start time, and where it’s happening
How people join — walk in, book, buy tickets, or RSVP
The price, if any

That’s it. Let’s go through the form.

1. Add your photos

Tap Upload and add up to four images. Tap any one to set it as the cover — that’s the image people see first. You can add one video too.

A strong cover image is the single biggest thing that makes people stop and look. For what makes a good image and how cropping works, see the Images & Video guide.

2. What type of event is it?

Pick the type that fits:

Event — a one-off gathering: live music, a party, a meetup, a ceremony.
Class / Workshop — something guided or taught: yoga, pottery, a dance class.
Retreat — a multi-day experience.
Daily Activity — something ongoing people can drop into, like sauna access or a co-working pass.

Not sure? If a host is leading it at a set time, it’s an Event or a Class. If it just runs and people show up whenever, it’s a Daily Activity.

3. Title, host, and details

Title — just the name of the event. Keep it clear. Skip the date, the venue, and the hype (“BEST NIGHT EVER!!!”). Good: Sunset Ecstatic Dance.

Host — the person leading it: the DJ, teacher, or performer. Not the venue. This is how you’ll appear, e.g. Vinyasa Flow w/ Christina.

Details — what it is, what happens, who it’s for, and anything practical people should know. You can use bold and bullet lists.

4. How can people join?

This tells people what to expect at the door:

Walk-in — just show up.
Walk-in + Online Tickets — buy ahead or pay at the door.
Walk-in + Booking Recommended — booking encouraged, limited spots.
Online Tickets Only — must buy online first.
RSVP Required — must register to attend.

If you choose a ticket or RSVP option, you’ll be asked for a direct link to the ticket or booking page (not an Instagram or Linktree).

5. When

Pick the date from the calendar, then your start time (and end time if you have one). Hosting something that repeats? Tick Recurring Event and choose how often. See the Recurring Events guide.

6. Where

Search for your venue. If it’s already on the map, select it — that’s it. If you can’t find it, you can drop a pin.

7. Exchange (the price)

Choose how it works:

Free — no charge.
Paid — a ticket or door price (you can add an early-bird price too).
Min Order — free to attend, but guests order from the venue (e.g. one-drink minimum).
Donation — pay what you want, or a suggested/minimum amount.

Preview and publish

Tap Preview & Submit and you’ll see your event card exactly as it’ll look on Todo.Today. Check it over, then choose how to publish:

Free submission — always free. Your event goes live on your channel and the app.
Boost — more visibility across feeds and personalized placements.
Feature Boost — top placement in its time slot plus a standout badge.

Hit publish, and you’re live.

What happens next

New creators have their first event reviewed by our team — once you’re approved, you get your own Creator Channel automatically, and future events can publish faster.
